- This small utility is from an article published in the November, 1989 issue of
- PC Computing:
-
- Nobody likes to lose things, least of all, a cursor. DOS commands are hard
- enough to type when you can see what you are doing. Unfortunately, some
- poorly behaved programs forget to restore the cursor when they're done. Other
- miscreants leave the screen in a garphics mode. Either way, this small (7
- byte) utility will clear things up by resetting the video mode to color text,
- 80 columns.
-
- The file Clear.Scr is the ASCII file used to create Clear.Com with DEBUG.
- (DEBUG < Clear.Scr creates the executable file). If you have a monochrome
- display, change the value in line two of Clear.Scr to 0007. Laptop users may
- find the value 0002 more effective.
